Week 10

I'm gonna enjoy week 10. There's no way I can gain enough ground to get into the top 2 to get a 1st round bye, but I've done well enough that there's no way I will drop out of the top 6. So in other words, week 10's results really won't matter to me one way or the other. Gonna be nice to just sit back and enjoy some NCAA football for a week without worrying about if my players got theirs or if the person I'm playings players went off or not. I'm gonna enjoy this. Good luck to everyone fighting for one of those final playoff spots and the the 3 or so guys battling for that 1st round bye. I'll start my quest to be the 1st time repeat champ come week 11.

I don't have to worry about much either. But I hope I have the chance to knock someone down a notch.

Hopefully TB is back in the office tomorrow and we can get a clear picture of what is going on in week 10. From the look of Ryb's projected week 8 the 6 playoff teams are close to being set. I want to win week 10 as this has been my worst season of the 5 but maybe a little regular season bad luck and post season good luck is just what the Dr. ordered.

Looks like Big Orange and BC Superfans will be our top seeds and earning the bye week. It looks like 3 of the remaining 4 playoff teams are set (E42, MCM, DA) while TB and DDD battle it out for the final spot.
Looks like an interesting week 10.

I think if I win, and Superfans loses, I have a pretty realistic shot at sneaking it the #2 spot. I will need that bye. I am fairly certain that I am 0-4 in playoff games.

I just looked and you do, but I assumed Sac and Carricocd were the bye weeks as they are the two best teams IMO. I am 100% sure I am 2-3 in the playoffs but I started off 2-0 and lost game 1 the last three years. Death to Jamarko Simmons.

The last 2 weeks have killed me, I was sitting pretty at #3 then my team went in the shitter. Now I must beat Bob Sac and put up some impressive points to stay in the playoff picture.

There literally are about 20 different scenarios that can be found. Since total points and cumulative record are a part of the equation, losses can happen and that team can still get into the playoffs even though a team with a similar record may win. DDD can lose, I can win, and if he scores enough points with certain teams scoring less, he can still beat in the Power Rankings even though I'd have a better record. Same with the other way around. I could be the 2nd highest scorer, to Ryb, and still make the playoffs if certain teams score low or high enough. Honestly, I think WP can win... DDD and I both lose, and even though he would have a better record, his other categories are so low, it may not matter. Liltee can put up a 200+ week and jump into the mix. Really, with the system in place... it's almost as unpredictable as the BCS system.

Just as an f.y.i, if we went with the VP system, the standing would be pretty much exactly the same. Surprisingly, this is the first time it's happened that way.

I'm going to do everything I can to keep TBay out of the playoffs. I don't know who'll win, but I do know that the Cincinnati-UConn game is going to cause TBay a lot of anguish.

I'll be monitoring the situation, but as of this morning Pike was ahead of schedule and was on the practice field, but it was still doubtful that he would play Saturday.
