OK here is the issue. Carricocd played TE George Bryan last week but there was no official transaction made in the WW threads. When i asked Carricocd he said he must have forgotten to click submit as he played him in week 5 and has him in his week 6 lineup.
The issue arose when Rybcon picked up the same player today but then later noticed him in Carricocd's starting lineup.
I am not suggesting that we remove the players stats from week 5 as Chris is a great owner and I have no reason to believe this was anything other then an oversight on his part as the Player was available prior to week 5.
The issue going forward is who owns the player? I've made this poll with two options and the majority will rule.

In fairness, I'll abstain from voting.

In fairness, I'll abstain from voting. Makes sense. Carricod don't vote but feel free to express your opinion.

I will excuse myself from voting, but did want to say that I know that I typed the post to pick him up and drop Jesse Rack of Buffalo on Friday (early a.m.). I do not know if I forgot to hit the post button or what. I then immediately added him to my week 5 lineup. Hopefully, the fact that I played him in week 5 is evidence of my intent to pick him up. I hope that those of you who have been involved in this league for several years know what kind of an owner I am and that I would never try to do anything shady. If anything, I am guilty of being careless and not verifying my posts. Obviously, I will be more careful next time.

I am open to donations to sway my voting right to one of you....hhahahahaha
Here is how I see it.....if this was not a manual league somewhere along the lines when setting your lineup you woulda noticed the missed transaction of officially picking him up
......on the other hand this is not your first rodeo like me here HAHAHAHA so high standards is what we should hold everyone of you except for me.....I get a full bag of excuses anytime I want until I am no longer the last person to join the league....so until next year at least I am #1 excuser.
Ryb made the correct transaction........so this is kinda hard to vote for really. Lets let them both have him!

The way I see it, I don't think Carricocd should get him or the points. Yes, I understand that he intended to make the transaction but since there is no official account of it, I don't think he should be allowed to keep him or even start him. If everyone else votes the other way, that's fine I won't complain, this is just the way I see it.

First and foremost I want to say that I do NOT think anything shady went down here AT ALL. I believe carricocd DID think he made the transaction post. I mean if no one owned the TE at the time and carricocd put him in his starting lineup and on his roster, then why wouldn't he make the transaction add/drop post as well? It was definitely just an oversight. And I believe that he should also keep the points he got in week 5 from the TE.
BUT, even though I believe it was just an oversight on not posting the add/drop thread, now that Rybcon has done so I believe that he should belong on Ryb's team because he did go through the pickup process correctly. But that doesn't seem to be an option in the poll vote so I went with putting the player back into the BBID pool.
I kinda think that only Ryb and carricocd should be the ONLY 2 owners allowed to bid on the player though. These 2 definitely beat everyone else to the punch on this guy and I don't think any of the rest of us should jump in with a higher bid and take him away from the 2 owners involved.
just my 2 cents

DA, another good way to get this straightened out before week 6 so that one of these 2 guys could own the TE and use him this week would be to contact both of them and let them know that the TE is now considered a FA for ONLY the 2 of them to bid on. Tell em each they have until a certain time Friday (time of your choice) to email you with a BBID and the winner of that will be the one who owns the TE and can use him if they put him in their starting lineup before the Friday midnight deadline. Just an idea for a quick solution

FYI
This will be added to the rules as I really feel this was an honest mistake.
From this point forward any player inserted into a starting lineup without an official message board transaction will go back to the FA pool the following week in the BBID process. No exceptions

I apologize for the trouble and do appreciate most everyone's understanding on this. I will definitely be diligent about verifying my posts in the future.

I voted for carricocd to keep him, but I could go either way here. Carricocd wanted him first. Rybcon did the transaction correctly. This is a tough one.
I honestly think an exception can be made here, and both teams should have him. My guess is that would make Rybcon and carricocd happy, and it doesn't have a big impact on the other 10 teams.
With DA's new rule set in place, it won't happen again.
No matter the final decision, though, I won't complain.

I voted to send the player back to BBID, but I agree with MCM that only the 2 owners involved (Rybcon and carricod) should be allowed to bid on him. I have no doubt that this was an honest mistake by Carricocd, and I think he should be allowed to keep the points from last week. But since the player in question was never officially added, Rybcon has an equally valid claim here. I think the best solution is a special BBID between the 2 owners.

I think that it would be kind of cool to have a rule named after me (kind of like the "Tom Brady Rule").

Sure this will be known as the carricocd rule!
BTW Rybcon said you can keep Bryan if you make an Official transaction.
